Contestant entry call in is the week before the rodeo either Wednesday/Thursday or Thursday/Friday.
The rodeo season runs from August 1 to July 31 of the next year.

IPRA Rodeo February 17-19, 2012. We will have an
information booth. Rodeo times are 8:00 pm Friday, 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm
Saturday, 2:00
pm Sunday. Booth is open 2 hours prior to performance and during intermission. Volunteers needed to work the booth.
- Michigan
Horse Council International Stallion Expo and Trade Show at
MSU
Pavilion, East Lansing, Michigan from March 9-11, 2012. NLBRA
of MI
will have an information booth and volunteers will be needed to
work in
two hour shifts. Expo hours are Friday 10:00 am to 9:00 pm,
Saturday
9:00 am to 7:30 pm, and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Friday 7:00
pm is the
Michigan
High School Association Rodeo. Please contact a board member for more information.
Past Events- West Michigan Winter Horsefest December 3, 2011 at the Deltaplex in Grand Rapids, MI. We will have an information booth. Doors open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Contact C. Strautz if interested in helping with booth.
- November 20, 2009, Friday, Silver Bells in the City fundraiser downtown Lansing, Michigan. Event runs from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. DRESS for the WEATHER!!!! Meet the wagon company and other NLBRA of MI members between 4:00 pm and 4:15 pm on Museum Drive behind RE Olds Museum and Impression 5 Science Center. Follow link to see map of area. From there, they will transport everyone to Washington Square to help load and unload wagons. Even if you can't make it for the start, you can meet the group in Washington Square. After the event is over, the draft horse club that brings in the hitches buys pizza at Tony M's (3420 S Creyts Road, Lansing) for all NLBRA of MI that have come to help. Credit will be given towards member financial obligation to those that help.
- Youth tie down and breakaway calf roping clinic (new dates) May 8 and 9, 2010 at 9:00 am held at Keller's Arena, New Boston, Michigan. Entry fee is $150.00 and must be made by April 24, 2010. Contact Kevin Peck for more information at 734-231-8714. Beginner to advance of all ages and for boys or girls.
- June 13, 2010 Euchre Tournament fundraiser at 2:00 pm with entries starting at 1:00 pm at the Masonic Temple in Byron, MI. $10 per entry, 25 cent Euchre. Can come as a single player, partners will be drawn. 50/50 raffle, door prizes, refreshments, $100.00 to the winner. The address is 100 South Saginaw Street, Byron, MI. - July 4th weekend bull riding clinic held at Nathan Muxlow's ranch. Follow link for more information.
- August 21-22, 2010 at 3P Ranch, 9887 Fulmer Road, Millington, MI, Michigan Youth Timed Event Championships (MYTEC). Please see last year's flyer for more information. 10:00 am start both days. Potluck Saturday night. $50.00 entry fee - cash only. Dummy roping contest for the younger kids. Western attire required.

Larry Tuebert Jr Barrel Racing clinic info: Date Sept 17, 2011 at the Rector Farm in Hanover, MI. Start time is 9:00 am. Depending on the number of participants the clinic may be extended an extra day. Open first to NLBRA members then open to others. Overnight camping and parking available. Stalls are not available.
